Kiler Canyon Vineyard, Paso Robles
The Kiler Canyon estate consists of 24 planted acres on 62 total acres of property. The vineyards planting is in the most sought-after sub-region of Paso Robles, the Willow Creek District. It's defining characteristic is its steep grades and depleted, limestone soils.
This region is known to have the best combined features of Paso Robles, with the heavy limestone soils of Adelaida along with strong currents of the Templeton Gap wind effect, resulting in fruit that could fully ripen while still showing low pH, bright acidity, and incredible flavor, structure, and tension.
